We enjoyed the ambiance and the fact it was quiet enough to have a conversation. Several people attended to our service. My husband and I had the tenderloin. It was cooked to perfection and very tender.

I had English afternoon tea here, and I fell deeply in love with scones from here. After I came back and looked up information, I learned that Scotland is the hometown of scones, and it has an inextricable relationship with Stone of Destiny. There are many locals and tourists from other countries who are quietly enjoying it here. It is a little crowded, but it is okay. The restaurant furnishings are also very historical, and neat and orderly. The service is also very efficient. If you make a reservation, it will be served very quickly. The tea and snacks are all fresh and mellow. I still have endless aftertastes after coming back for several months.

Great place - an institution in Glasgow.  Always busy but not too busy - good atmosphere.  The staff are consistently excellent and v helpful, more than happy to get a few bottles down to select what suits you.  Very much focused on whisky (best selection in Scotland, I think) - but also has some good beers. You don&apos;t have to be a whisky expert - the staff are more than happy to advise, even if you have never tried whisky before.

This bar is quite something.  It has a staggering array of whisky, some 1300 different names apparently at last count. Other than whisky the bar is very well stocked. Think about that, if you taste one per day every day... it would take over three and a half years to try them all... !!  It is small and can be busy, so be prepared, getting a seat is a challenge. It&apos;s a real old world Glasgow pub.  The staff are friendly, attentive and know their whiskies exceptionally well.   It is not expensive, depending upon the whisky you order of course. Very good value for money.  If you like your whisky this is the place for you if you are in Glasgow.  Try doing as I did, ask the barman to choose something for you, something out of your normal choice, and totally different.  Highly recommended.

Had researched this place and it was a highlight of our trip! Fabulous place with over a thousand whiskys to try. Had three recommendations and they were spot on. A must-visit!

A great all-around experience,  over 1000+ malt whiskeys to choose from.... Welcoming,  friendly, and V helpful staff help you choose your own taste in malt whiskey(taste+price range) And have great tasting "homemade pies" available behind the bar.

This is a great bar. We ended up visiting twice in one day but it made a memorable last full day in the City and an opportunity to meet other visitors to the City. The staff’s knowledge of whisky’s is impressive to say the least and there are a number of craft beers to try. Granted, it is only small but that is part of its charm. It also means that you end up sharing a table with other visitors if,like us, you’ve spent a busy morning tramping around the  city’s many sites of interest.  On both of our trips we met and chatted with people we met in the pub. In addition, I got two excuses to sample the “Malt of the month”, which on this occasion was a chance to sample malt whiskeys from Glasgow distillery’s, at a very reasonable price of £3.50 per glass! Superb! Great place, great staff and not to be missed if in Glasgow!

This is a bar that opens late into the night, on Hope Street in Glasgow. In fact, elsewhere in Glasgow or Scotland, the bar also offers light western meals, or can be seen as restaurants. There are nearly 200 varieties of wine available here, and bartenders can also be asked to make their favorite wines according to their own requirements.

Very nice coffee shop, decorated with simple personality, a place that young people like very much.

Each of us should feel everything in the world with an indifferent attitude, without any prejudice, without any far-fetchedness, without any affectation, without any pretense, without any stubbornness. An indifferent attitude makes us always in the best state of mind and the state of spiritual victory.

A very unexpected restaurant, because I think the restaurants here are generally very ordinary, not particularly good, but this one from decoration to dishes to service is very high-end, and the price is acceptable, very delicious.
